7 benefits of how coaching culture directly impacts organizations

In the world of work, we are currently living in constant change. The pandemic has forced us to change the way we interact with our coworkers, managers, leaders, and how we structure our work.

Companies have been or will be obliged to carefully consider their values, purpose, and the needs of all their stakeholder.

Coaching is the perfect ally for this new business context. The focal points of coaching are collaboration, partnership, awareness, responsibility and believing in potential. A shift in mindset – from manager to coach – helps leaders in two main ways:

First, by improving the organizational climate that can be defined as the way people perceive the work environment (both by outsiders and by the people who work for the organization). Coaching impacts Organizational climate in aspects such as:  motivation, engagement, job satisfaction, effective communication, increases productivity, organizational performance and leadership behavior among other factors.

Second and mainly in order to strengthen culture that is based on shared attitudes, beliefs, norms, language, organization’s philosophy, as well as the values that guide members’ behavior. Coaching transforms leadership styles from managing to coaching therefore, the culture of the organization will begin to change. Collaboration, partnership, honest feedback, learning, self-motivation, trust, quality, interdependency, inner values are making way for and becoming the hallmarks of the new coaching culture.
